Who we are

Broward Cop Watch is a non-violent citizen advocacy program, inspired by well-established groups, like LA Cop Watch and the ACLU. Our goal is to help end deputy misconduct, brutality and abuse of power by collecting citizen stories and complaints as well as conducting surveys about the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and its deputies.

To bring accountability and transparency to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, because it protects us all.

Replace BSO Internal Affairs’ department with a Civilian Review Board.

Early warning system

Create an Early Warning System to spot potentially dangerous cops before it’s too late.

Complaints get “lost” in Internal Affairs everyday, and we want to make sure that stops. If you file a complaint via BSO’s Internal Affairs online form, please take a screenshot of the form with your completed answers as well as the confirmation page once you submit, and share it with Broward Cop Watch.
